A familiar sight to many Old Novaportans; the entrance to the junior boarding house of Newport's Adams Grammar School www.adamsgs.org.uk. The school educates roughly 800 pupils, of whom 100 live either at Longford Hall or in the senior boarding premises on the school grounds in Newport High Street. (No dogs allowed on these grounds, so I was unable to re-visit this old haunt on this occasion, due to having Daft Dog with me)
