Flyover at Ballyclare

Image: © Albert Bridge Taken: 11 Jan 2007

This flyover carries the Hillhead Road, Ballyclare over the road from Ballynure to Templepatrick. The latter carries traffic from Portadown and points west to and from Larne and, as well as being the Ballyclare bypass, acts as an unofficial northern bypass of Belfast. It was built around 40 years ago, probably because of the difference in the height of the two roads. The view is towards Ballynure and Larne.
