College Road looking in the Lansdowne Road direction with Clifton Down (the A4176) 1/2 mile behind the photographer. The college's memorial arch that commemorates those teachers and pupils who died during the two World Wars forms one entrance into the College.This is an independent school that was founded in 1862. It admitted girls to the Sixth Form in 1987 and is now fully co-educational.
