Traffic management around Greenwich town centre for the Olympics / Paralympics included making a clockwise one-way system around Greenwich High Road / Norman Road / Creek Road; this was expected to have the knock-on effect of long delays on the main road approaching Greenwich. But in practice during the Olympic fortnight traffic was lighter than usual in the morning rush-hour as many people went on holiday or worked from home.
