This is a remnant of 'Burma Camp' one of the WW2 training bases of the Royal Marines 803 Landing Craft Flotilla, where general seamanship and navigational skills were taught. The vision slit in the wall of the hut looks out to sea and the mounting bolts for one of the guns still remain. Immediately after WW2, the camp was briefly used as a resettlement centre for Polish forces.
