Blacksmiths are a rarity nowadays but there is one in Glynde, as seen here, and also in the nearby village of Firle. This one has a notice saying 'GLYNDE FORGE GENERAL SMITH' to the left of the door, but the horseshoe around the door is a giveaway although former forges, of course, will also have these.
