Looking across Image the Image was putting on the only air display of the day. The Olympic air exclusion zone covered the airfield but the brass hats controlling the RAF typhoons at Northolt protecting the sporting festivities in Stratford Sidings considered these veterans trustworthy but a Sea Fury also scheduled to display beyond the pale! Ho humm the sound of six Merlins stirred my blood.
