Basford Waterworks was located at the junction of Haydn Road and Hucknall Road at the site now occupied by the Severn Trent Water Authority. My sister poses in the snow on the main drive. The building on the right is the Nos. 1 & 2 Engine House and the shorter building partially hidden by the bushes is the Nos. 1 & 2 Boiler House. The bushes also hide the coal storage area.
