A large Anglican High church on the southern side of Wednesbury. The foundation stone was laid on 26th May 1847, and by 31st May 1848, barely one year later, the new church had been completed at a cost of just less than £3500. It's built in Peldon Stone, quarried locally at Meldon Fields, although has been extended from its original form.
