A couple of participants in the 2012 MTB Marathon event passing the school in Stiperstones village; a long, fast road descent before a climb into Eastridge Woods. The school is one of several that were originally proposed for closure by Shropshire Council in April 2011, but the formation of a Federation with the nearby primaries in Hope and Chirbury has meant that the closure plans have been lifted.
