Looking north-west across the valley towards the clump of trees around Hall Farm just poking out of the mist. The crop is lush due to the heavy rains of June 2012, but it now needs a good deal of sunshine in July to ripen it off and dry it out. The prospects are not good as we await the next thunder shower to roll in.
