John Kettlewell (1653 - 1695), the son of John Kettlewell of nearby Lowfields farm, took holy orders and became vicar of Coleshill in Warwickshire in 1682. Because of his Jacobite sympathies he refused to take the Oath of Allegiance to William and Mary and lost his position. The rent for Lowfields went to pay for the church, the poor, the sick and for education. To this day the church, local hospitals and schools still benefit from this income. The window shows (from left to right): Noah with his ark and a dove, Abraham preparing to sacrifice his son, Moses with his ten commandments and Elisa (Elijah) being fed by the ravens.
