Neat little nonconformist chapel (Independent) erected around 1840, on the road next to Pontgynon (Cynon's bridge) over the infant Afon Nyfer/River Nevern. Like so many of these rural chapels it stands not within a village but at some distance away, a fact which must have served to accentuate the church/chapel divide.
