Olympic torch relay vehicles parked in Trinity Street, shortly before the 7am start of the Coventry to Leicester leg of the relay. Trinity Street was constructed in the 1930s after the demolition of narrow streets of medieval buildings (Great Butcher Row, Little Butcher Row and the Bull Ring) and opened on 16th September 1937. The buildings visible at the top end are part of the 1950s reconstruction after WWII. The '20' road markings limiting traffic speed to 20mph are part of recently introduced traffic calming measures in the city centre.
