The building at the corner of Lumn Road and Smithy Lane was known as the Blue Window Club. Its official name was the Werneth Unionist Working Men's Club. It closed in the late 1980s but re-opened briefly in the 1990s as the "Irish Club". http://hydonian.blogspot.co.uk/2010/09/blue-window-club.html
