Bourne Vale and Fazeley Neighbourhood
Although just a hop and skip away from Tamworth, Fazeley and the surrounding areas are part of Lichfield District Council.
The area lies along the route of the old Roman Watling Street - the A5 - which, thanks to a new by-pass, is now much quieter! One busy area though is Drayton Manor Theme Park which attracts thousands of people to its white knuckle rides, gardens and zoo.
Drayton Manor was once the home of Sir Robert Peel, founder of the modern police force, and his family name is still to be found on pubs, streets and buildings in the area.
