M25 motorway - Chandlers Lane bridge

Widening work to form a 4-lane motorway has produced an unusual and potentially hazardous arrangement at the bridge, with the supporting pillars (originally to the left of the "hard shoulder") between lane 1 and the emergency lane. The positioning of the 300 yard junction indicator sign is probably unique in the UK.
