The village green at the junction of Chapel Street and High Street. A plaque on the bench reads: This bench was erected by Welford-on-Avon Parish Council in 2012 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II The horse chestnut tree was planted in 1935 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Queen's grandparents, Their Majesties King George V and Queen Mary In the background, to the left of the tree, can be seen the bottom of the maypole.
