18 Apr 2024 | Anti-Social Behaviour Response (18 Apr 2024)ASB continues to be a priority in the Alderbury and The police are working very closely with partner agencies including the Parish Councils, and local community groups to address some of the issues and concerns raised. |
14 Apr 2024 | Vulnerable Checks Response (14 Apr 2024)Officers conduct regular visits to our identified vulnerable people to both reassure them following reported concerns and to deter visits by criminals who wish to exploit them. We have been working closely with Wiltshire Council Housing on evidence to support several injunctions which we have now got in place. These premises are visited regularly by the teams to provide support to those who are most vulnerable. |
18 Jul 2024 | Non-dwelling burglaries Response (18 Jul 2024)We have received some reports of non-dwelling burglaries and theft from motor vehicles in Redlynch, Downton and Wilton. These relate to business premises as well as shed breaks. High visibility targeted patrols are being carried out in these areas. |
18 Jul 2024 | Anti-Social Behaviour Response (18 Jul 2024)ASB continues to be a priority in the City Centre. High Visibility patrols are being conducted at certain times to deal with any incidents and provide reassurance to the community. The police are working very closely with partner agencies including the Salisbury City Council and Wiltshire Council in getting a PSPO for the city with regards to drinking alcohol and also a separate PSPO for the use of catapults. |

High visibility targeted patrols are being conducted. Extensive crime prevention advice has been provided across media outlets and local engagements will continue in the coming weeks. |
24 Jan 2025 | PSPO Street Drinkers Response (24 Jan 2025)Officers have been proactively patrolling hotspot areas as part of the ASB funded additional patrols within the city and surrounding areas. Where appropriate PSPO enforcement tickets have been issued and followed up with Wiltshire Council. |
24 Jan 2025 | Business Crime Response (24 Jan 2025)Business Crime has been a focus for the Neighbourhood team during the Christmas period and will continue into the new year. We have been working closely with businesses and partner agencies within the City to prevent and deter offences of shoplifting and proactively dealing with offenders involved in these crimes. |
24 Jan 2025 | Rural Crime Response (24 Jan 2025)Rural crime continues to be a focus for the team. We are continuing to conduct proactive operations with our neighbouring forces and our Rural Crime Team in tackling rural crime. |
