PC Josh Pankhurst began his policing journey in 2014 as a Special Constable with Wiltshire Police. He later transitioned into a police staff role as an escort officer in 2018, before achieving his ambition of becoming a full-time Police Constable in 2021. After three years on the Salisbury response team, Josh moved into neighbourhood policing in May 2024.

His passion for public service was sparked during his time in the Air Cadets, where he spent ten years developing a strong sense of community and discipline. Drawn to the variety, challenge, and meaningful impact that policing offers, Josh has always viewed the police as the right fit for his skills and values.

Sergeant Lisa Lovatt joined Wiltshire Police in January 1998 and has proudly spent her entire policing career serving the Salisbury community.

Over the past 27 years, she has taken on a wide range of roles including working on the Forensic Conversion Team, Burglary Team, Crime Squad, Drugs Squads and Local Tasking Teams. Despite this variety, her passion has always remained with local and response policing - the role she dreamed of as a child.

Lisa became the Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant for Salisbury in December 2019, a position she finds incredibly rewarding. She is committed to completing her 30-year policing career in this role, working alongside a dedicated team of colleagues and partner agencies, all striving toward a shared goal: to support communities and deliver an outstanding service to victims.

Sergeant Susan Malkinson has served with Wiltshire Police for over a decade, beginning her policing journey as a Special Constable before becoming a full-time Police Constable in 2016.

Much of Susan’s career has been spent as a Response Officer in the south of the county, gaining a wealth of frontline experience. In 2022, she joined the Salisbury Neighbourhood Policing Team as a Police Constable and was promoted in post to Sergeant the following year.

Passionate about problem solving and making a tangible difference in local communities, Susan describes her current role as the most rewarding of her career. Inspector Tina Osborn leads the Salisbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, overseeing all local policing across the city and surrounding areas. With a strong focus on community engagement, problem-solving and partnership working, Tina is committed to ensuring Salisbury remains a safe and welcoming place for all who live, work, and visit.

Tina works closely with local residents, businesses, councillors, schools and partner agencies to build trust, deliver long-term solutions and respond to the issues that matter most to the community.

A key part of their role involves youth engagement, including active involvement in the Mini Police programme. Through school visits and fun, educational sessions, PCSO Quinn helps build trust between young people and the police—something made even more special by the pride children feel when they wear their Mini Police uniforms.
