Priorities

26 Jan 2024

Non-dwelling burglaries

Response (26 Jan 2024)

Whilst we have seen a significant reduction in non
dwelling burglaries over the last couple of months in the
Broadchalke and Dinton areas, we are aware that there has been a few reports in Redlynch, Landford and
Downton.

These have predominately involved business premises and outbuildings. High visibility targeted patrols are being carried out in these areas.

Anti-Social Behaviour

Response (26 Jan 2024)

ASB continues to be a priority in the Alderbury and
Longhedge area. High Visibility patrols are being conducted at certain times to deal with any incidents and provide reassurance to the community.

The police are working very closely with partner agencies including the Parish Councils, and local community groups to address some of the issues and concerns raised.

Vulnerable Checks

Response (14 Feb 2024)

Officers conduct regular visits to our identified vulnerable people to both reassure them following reported concerns and to deter visits by criminals who wish to exploit them. We have been working closely with Wiltshire Council Housing on evidence to support several injunctions which we have now got in place. These premises are visited regularly by the teams to provide support to those who are most vulnerable.
