A narrowboat on the West Bridgford side of the River Trent in the vicinity of Balmoral Avenue with Trent Bridge in the distance and a section of the Victoria Embankment opposite. The midpoint between the two river banks marks the boundary between the Municipal Borough of Rushcliffe and the City of Nottingham.
