In winter it's OK but this time of year it starts to become a threat, paths vanish, possibly infected ticks lurk in its foliage and it smothers other plants. Bracken (Pteridium aquilium) - loved by few, hated by all people who like to walk in shorts in the summer. http://www.chm.bris.ac.uk/motm/ptq/ptq.htm http://www.brackencontrol.co.uk/ http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Lyme-disease/Pages/Introduction.aspx
