Foxton Hall was one of the historic residences of the local Percy family in the early 1900's when it was offered by the Duke of Northumberland, the then captain of the club, as a clubhouse for a new proposed golf course in 1929. The hall is a collection of rambling buildings but the clubhouse occupies the main building which oozes with character and the traditions of the game of golf. http://www.alnmouthgolfclub.com/pages.php/index.html
