Located at 173 Cricklewood Broadway on the corner of Chichele Road. Costa was founded in 1971 by brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa, who sold their coffee to a few local caterers. They opened their first coffee shop in 1978, in Vauxhall Bridge Road, London. Costa, which was bought by Whitbread in 1995, is now (early 2012) the largest coffee shop chain in the UK.
