Kirkistown castle near Portavogie

Kirkistown castle is a tower house built in 1622. The tower (right) was altered in 1800 in the gothic style. The surviving part of the bawn (defensive wall) on the left is thought to be original. Access is via a private lane with signs verging on the GOML.
