St Mary and All Saints Anglican Church, Stoughton sits at the junction of Gaulby Lane and Church Lane, as seen from this view-point obliquely opposite it on Gaulby Road. The village name is possibly derived from the two Old English words stoc + tun (stoc = an dependent settlement, with tun = an enclosure).
