Hidden down one of the quiet roads in the centre of Harrogate is this unusual little building that was once the entrance to a riding school. This extract is from some Edwardian literature explaining the sights and attractions to be had in Harrogate:- Horses to be had from the various livery stables ; the Stray an excellent run ; a Riding School in East Park Road, off Victoria Avenue. The white building next to it was built later, possibly in the 1920's and was a paint works.
