The pagoda was built as an adjunct to the Pagoda Palace Chinese restaurant. For an image of the restaurant please see Image Update 28 September 2010: After a prolonged period when the restaurant was closed and deserted it has re-opened as the Oriental Buffet. The new owners have existing restaurants in Torquay and Exeter.
