The North Downs Way (long distance path) leads up from Winders Hill Cottages, then turns right to head along Quarry Road (bridleway) to Horse Shaw. Quarry Road also heads left as a bridleway and as National Cycleway Network Route 21 to Gravelly Hill. Anotther footpath heads straight on through the wood to Marden Park.
