The impressive building is an old warehouse on the Teifi wharfside. It dates from 1745 when the town was a busy trading port and it once included a sail loft and a granary, with limekilns at the rear. Timber was a major export and emigrants too were shipped out, bound for America. Now the building provides information and exhibits relating to Cardigan's long and interesting history.
