Although looking like a typical early 20th century cinema, this building in Fraser Street off London Road, was the distribution centre for Paramount Pictures and never an actual cinema. With the increased popularity of the cinema, it was decided to store all the films in a central location where they could be distributed to the various cinemas situated in the Liverpool area and this purpose built fireproof repository was created. It is now a cafe-bar called De Mille.
