The Royal Mail was a pub located on the ground floor of a block of flats called Joseph Trotter Close on the corner of Myddelton Street and Gloucester Way. Although it has clearly been closed for some time, it still advertises major sporting events 'shown on the big screen'. 'Live music every Saturday' might not have been regarded as an unmitigated blessing by the flats' residents.
