The derelict property on the corner of Thomas Street and Cross Street has a prominent wall sign in black and red text for a previous occupier of the premises. The phone number shown has an 0222 dialling code, which dates the sign to some time before 1995, when 0222 was changed to 01222. As part of the Big Number Change in April 2000, 01222 was changed to 029.
