The machinery here is very nice and open. The two nearest are in working order and a new type of stone from Holland. I think this is due to the French burr quartzite not being excavated anymore and Derbyshire gritnot being good for white flour. There are two Derbyshire grits at the back (not working), they were used for animal feed like most mills in the 1950s and 1960s.
