This gathering in Watney St Market East London was held on International Workers Memorial day 2012. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workers'_Memorial_Day It was marking the deaths of Stephen Hammond 32 and brothers, Paul (17) and David (19) Richardson. In September 1990 these untrained workers were sent into a sewer near this clock tower erected in their memory. The three colleagues were overcome by poisonous Hydrogen Sulphide gas, a fourth member of the team aged just twenty only just survived, he wasn’t even supplied with a safety rope to extract his friends. There was a Image and Image were made. See the dedication at Image
