The Black Lion Inn

Located on the south western side of Image where the B2192 crosses the A22. The inn was built in the early 19th century to serve travellers on the coaching road that linked Eastbourne to London and was known as the Blacksmiths Arms for many years due to the proximity of the old village forge which is now the site of an hotel.
