One that was closed in 1966 in the Beeching era, reopened in 1981 with a somewhat limited service, and now has a much improved since 2008. A fast Northern Rail service is about to stop en route from Leeds to Nottingham. The freight train may be empty on its way towards the Hope Valley line and the cement works at Hope.
