The old Reading Room that served as a village hall has been rebuilt; compare Image The garden at the front has been remodelled around the First World War Memorial Image At the back there is a car park reached from the adjacent Townsend Close development, and a grassed kickabout behind. Nobody I asked seemed to know when the hall was built though in the lobby a certificate records that the building was a finalist in the Biffawards Awards 2009.
