The foundation stone tells the story of this block of flats that were home to many over the years. However, the entire lot is now empty and boarded up. See Image] for more. The stone has the inscription: 'This stone was laid by The Lord Mayor of Bath (Councillor W.H.J. Shepherd) on 3rd May, 1962 Chairman Welfare Committee S.A. Smith Town Clerk City of Bath Jared E. Dixon'
