View northward, towards Wood Green and the North on the ECML. The great Ferme Park Yards are to the left on both sides of the main line. The Up express is the 06.50 Grimsby - King's Cross, headed by Thompson B1 4-6-0 No. 61409 (built 6/50 - the final one of its class, withdrawn 9/63). Behind it, an empty carriage train is passing on the Up Slow and an Up Goods is crossing the Flyover. The shot was taken from the footbridge from Harringay station, which led northwards to an ideal spot for watching the never-ending succession of trains.
