This cancelled Ordnance Survey cut mark was originally used during the First Primary Levelling in England & Wales. It was levelled with a height of 215.9840 feet [65.8319 metres] above mean sea level using the Liverpool datum, and was included on the Gloucester to London levelling line. There is another cut mark replacing this one approximately 0.8 metres east and on the same building (see Image) , for further information visit http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm33327 and http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm41749.
