Beyond these perhaps only partly-used old buildings May's Hill descends between hedges to join the A4189 among trees, right. This view from a low ridge is characteristic: hedgerow trees, trees by brooks and ponds and scraps of woodland merge in the view to give an impression of a well-treed, gently undulating landscape.
