By Alfred Waterhouse, 1896-98. In a characteristically Victorian way, the main accent is a tower, here octagonal and crowned by a spire. The ground floor is granite, brown stone above, with decorative gables and lots of tracery. Grade II listed. There is now a pub at ground floor.
