View across to Glen Cruitten, into which the railway swings NE on its way to Connel Ferry, Callander and eventually Stirling, with woods of Kilmore opposite. The engine is Caledonian McIntosh 2P 0-4-4T Mo. 55208 (built c. 1905, withdrawn 10/61), used on the Ballachulish branch. The Depot - out of frame - (coded 63E) was very small, with an allocation (in 1954) of just six engines:- 2 0-6-0, 4 0-4-4T.
