The hill is still called Houseclose Plantation on the map even though there are just two small, windswept trees left on its summit. There's a wreath of pine cones and pink ribbons on top of the triangulation pillar, which I imagine is dedicated to someone who loved this spot. Even at 30 metres above sea level it does command some stunning views of the surrounding countryside, most of which is comparatively flat.
