A Traffic Warden watches as a delivery van prepares to turn into Gloucester Walk. The road on the right hand side is Vicarage Gardens. The sign for the shop on the extreme left is that of Jimmie Martin - a fashionable furniture designer whose current offerings often merge traditional style with modern motifs - website at http://www.jimmiemartin.com/. The building on the extreme right has bricked up windows, almost certainly as a result of the window tax introduced in 1696 - Full history can be found on Wikipedia.
