Looking from the bridge at Simister Lane. The road to the left is the exit slip road, from the anticlockwise M60 eastern section, to the Simister Island junction where traffic will go left (to the anti-clockwise M60 western section) or round the island to the right, to join the eastbound M62 towards Yorkshire. The road ahead, passing under the interchange is the M66 (which is the continuation of the M60 eastern section).
