Derelict lock, Thames and Severn Canal

This is the upper end of the derelict double lock on the disused Thames and Severn Canal east of Dudgrove Farm. The barrier nearest the camera is a recent concrete construction which has a small drainage hole at the bottom. Just past it, not visible on this picture but indicated by the bands of ivy either side, is another barrier which is probably the position of the top lock gate (of three). In the distance, the second lowest lock gate can be seen; the lowest is not visible on this picture.
