The late-12th to early-13th century Church of Saint John the Baptist stands some distance away from the present village of Hannington. A Grade II* Listed building, it was largely rebuilt in 1968-71. http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-318336-church-of-st-john-the-baptist-hannington
