View NW, towards Great Malvern: ex-Midland branch, closed 5/12/52 Upton - Malvern, to Ashchurch 14/8/61. However, freight continued from Ripple until 1/6/63, from Tewkesbury until 2/11/64; Ashchurch - Tewkesbury until 1/5/68. The locomotive, working back tender-first, is ex-Midland Johnson/Deeley 5'3" 3F 0-6-0 No. 43645, which worked on the line for many years and survived at Gloucester until 11/62.
