Snow fell overnight and with the pond frozen a beautiful winter wonderland scene was created. Few cars had managed to drive along the ungritted roads and only adventurous people had braved the slippery conditions, one can be seen almost hiding in the trees! Only a few weeks later the verges were covered in yellow and purple crocus, all thanks to the Friends of Blatchington Pond.
